A mother has admitted killing her 10-month-old baby girl after being unable to receive help for post natal depression - because the child was more than six months old.
The killing occurred in February after Erin Sutherland (pictured inset), 36, received a letter from her ex-partner detailing his plans for arranging access to their daughter Chloe (main). After assaulting and smothering the 'beautiful and vibrant' child at their Edinburgh home, she then called a friend and told her she had put Chloe 'to sleep'.
