There seems to be more trouble for embattled Ogun senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu has a family in Ogun State, the Bakare family have accused him of illegally purchasing 300 acres of land that belongs to them. The family led by Shafiudeen Bakare, stormed Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Iwe Irohin, Press Centre, Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta and explained that the family had all documents and will drag Kashamu to court over the issue.

A Kenyan lawyer has offered US President Barrack Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
Speaking to The Nairobian, Felix Kiprono said his dream is to marry one of Obama’s daughters, Malia, and he is ready to meet Obama to discuss the matter when he visits Kenya in July.

British ex-convict wanted for alleged $8.8m fraud in Nigeria


Plans are underway for the extradition of a British citizen, Deepak Khilnani back to Nigeria for prosecution on financial crimes against a Nigerian Company in which he is a director. Mr Khilnani, who is a chartered accountant and an ex-convict of the British Crown Court at Blackfriars, United Kingdom (UK) is wanted in Nigeria in connection with US$8, 776, 862 fraud charge. The Crown Court conviction certificate dated 13th November 1998, which is in possession of the publisher reads:
“DEEPAK KHILNANI was upon his own confession convicted upon indictment of TRADING WITH INTENT TO DEFRAUD CREDITORS, FALSE ACCOUNTING AND MAKING FALSE STATEMENT TO AUDITOR”.

Don’t Bribe Police Men, Report Them Instead- IG Begs Nigerians


The new Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, have appealed to Nigerians not to give bribe to policemen even if they ask of it saying, it takes two to tango and Nigerians shouldn’t be part of it. He made the statement today in Abuja while fielding questions from journalists during a meeting with senior officers on the issue of whether or not bail was free.

Casket with body inside found on a sidewalk in Houston




A bicyclist,Yoel Rubio made the bizarre discovery on Tuesday morning when he was riding his bicycle along a bayou path, when he saw the casket. “I’ve never seen anything like it,” Rubio said.  “It was crazy.”

This happened near Keegan’s Bayou in southwest Houston.  Police believe stormwaters lifted the casket out of the ground from nearby Riceville Cemetery, then carried it about 100 yards.
