FIFA President Sepp Blatter announces he'll be stepping down from office
FIFA President Sepp Blatter has announced he will be resigning from office as President of the World football body soon. Making the announcement today, Mr Blatter, 79, who was re-elected for a fifth term only four days ago, said the world football governing body will hold an extraordinary congress to elect his successor as soon as possible.
Police Parade Old Man Who Defiled Daughters, Nieces
The Oyo State Police command has arrested a man who allegedly defiled his two daughters and two of his nieces. The victims are aged 14, 15, 15 and 17. The crime was allegedly committed at Moniya in Akinyele Local Government area of the state.
Though, the suspect, who is an herbalist, denied the allegation of incest saying he was being held for the crime he did not commit.

Jenny Buckleff, 58, made the unusual entrance on Saturday when she married Christopher Lockett, 51, in Llangefni, Wales. She lay in the black coffin with the lid closed as she was pulled along by a motorcycle in honour of her brother - a motorcycle enthusiast.

When Emma Palmer heard her smoke alarm beep from downstairs, she assumed her son Oliver — then 19 and home on holiday from Warwick University — was burning toast.
But when she opened her bedroom door, she immediately realised the problem was much more serious. Thick clouds of acrid smoke were billowing along the landing and within seconds Emma was coughing and spluttering uncontrollably.
‘I realised Oliver was still in bed, and I started screaming at him to wake up. I roused him and then we dashed back into my bedroom, put a towel under the door and rang the fire brigade. The smoke was just too thick to go downstairs.’
Emma’s husband was out at work, but with the flames raging below, she and Oliver were effectively trapped upstairs.
American woman is dragged by a lion after leaving her car window open in South African safari park
A 22-year-old American woman has been mauled to death and another person seriously injured after being pulled through their car window by a lion in a safari park in South Africa.
The tourist and her companion, thought to be a South African tour guide, were taking a 'routine' drive through the 20-acre compound containing about a dozen big cats near Johannesburg.
Gauteng Lion Park employee Scott Simpson, 28, told Daily Mail Online: 'The lion approached from the left of the vehicle, the passenger side and walked quite close to the car.
'The witnesses said they saw the guests taking pictures of the lion from a meter away, then the lion lunged at the car and bit the lady through the window.'

The Scottish ex-MP's death was not believed to be suspicious and the cause of death has yet to be confirmed. Mr Kennedy lost his seat in the Ross, Skye and Lochaber constituency to the SNP's Ian Blackford in last month's general election.
