A man has been charged over an attack on a pregnant woman who lost her baby as it emerged last night that she waited more than an hour for an ambulance that never arrived.
Malorie Bantala, 21, who was 32 weeks pregnant, was pushed to the ground by two men in motorbike helmets, who stamped on her 'clearly visible' stomach, according to detectives.
Last night London Ambulance Service issued an apology after it was revealed police had to take Malorie to hospital themselves after waiting 70 minutes for an ambulance that never arrived.

Nigerian Man Sets 8-Year-Old Ablaze Over Witchcraft Allegations In Jos

A 60-year-old man, identified as Yakubu Vong, has allegedly set ablaze an eight-year-old girl (names withheld) at Sabon Layi in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The suspect, who is in police custody in Jos, allegedly set the girl ablaze while urging her to confess her involvement in witchcraft for which she was accused. The suspect was said to have lured the girl to his house where he allegedly forced the girl to confess to being a witch.

Funmilayo Tijani, a 26-year-old fashion designer, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing her two-year-old son, Emmanuel, to death in Sango Ota area of Ogun State. 
Funmilayo, a fashion designer, and her husband, identified simply as John, separated two years ago as a result of a quarrel. Afterwhich, Funmilayo returned to stay in her father’s apartment with her only child.

Woman abandons 4 year old Grandchild beside a parked truck


A four-year-old child, who is battling with cerebral palsy has been abandoned at the Ifako-Ijaiye General Hospital, Lagos State. It was learnt that her unidentified mother had sometime last year left the child with her grandmother, identified as Nike Owoyeni, and fled.
Owoyeni took the victim to the hospital around December, 2014, where she was reportedly treated and discharged the same day.
It was gathered that Owoyeni, after leaving the hospital, headed to Ogba and dumped her granddaughter beside a parked truck. The child was said to have been seen by a resident, who took her back to the facility.

A five-year-old girl also survived by playing dead after the suspect, a white man in his twenties, stormed a weekly bible study group at the 150-year-old Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal church in Charleston and opened fire on the room.
