Amnesty International considers legalizing prostitution
500 Amnesty delegates from more than 80 countries will gather at an international conference next week in Dublin to vote on whether to advocate the elimination of all penalties for sex work, on the grounds that it is a matter of privacy between consenting adults. Simply put, the Human Right group will vote on a new policy that calls for the global decriminalization of sex trafficking.

An instruction by an Aldi store manager to a security guard to "keep an eye on the tinkers in Aisle Three" has cost the German retailer €7,500.
A judge yesterday approved the award to a 17-year-old traveller girl arising from the incident at the Aldi store in Ennis, Co Clare, on November 5 last.
Counsel for the girl, Patrick Quinn BL, told Ennis Circuit Court that she was in attendance at the Aldi store on Francis Street with her infant brother and another traveller adult who was with her own infant son.

The jury in the trial of an Italian man who has admitted killing his landlord in Castleknock last year have found him not guilty of murder by reason of insanity.
Saverio Bellante (36) with an address at Beech Park Avenue, Castleknock, Dublin 15 was charged with murdering Thomas O'Gorman at an unknown time between January 11 2014 and January 12 2014 at the above address.
