Woman Refused to let Firefighters Smash Her Car Window to Rescue Her 3-Year-Old Son
A mother in Yiwu China seemed to value her car more than the life of her child. The woman refused to allow firefighters and passers-by to break the window of her BMW to rescue her 3-year-old son because she didn’t want to damage her luxury car. The child was trapped inside the extremely hot car with temperature being around 32°C.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu Admitted To Hospital
The 83-year-old Nobel Peace laureate and anti-apartheid campaigner is being treated in Cape Town for a "persistent infection".
Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu is in a Cape Town hospital being treated for what his family describes as a persistent infection.
In a statement released by the Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation, his daughter the Reverend Canon Mpho Tutu said she hopes he will be home again "in a day or two".
Bloody mayhem on streets linked to bitter Dublin feud
Two men were arrested yesterday while another three men were hospitalised after the chaos broke out in front of dozens of onlookers, including children, on a busy street in Drogheda shortly before midday.
Among the three men hospitalised was Clifford Whitehouse, whose brother Benny was shot dead last September. The two men who were arrested were later released without charge and a file was prepared for the DPP.

Alaa Bader Al Hashemi, 30, (pictured in burqa roaming around the mall, looking for a victim) was executed at dawn after President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed alNahyan approved the death sentence.

The motorbike (centre) was used by notorious Mexican cartel leader Joaquim 'El Chapo' Guzman (inset), in a daring escape from the maximum-security Altiplano prison on Saturday. The bike was fitted to rails in an underground tunnel, nearly a mile long, that reached from the showers in the prison to a construction site nearby.
