Woman vanishes in Atlanta Airport, misses connecting flight


A woman taking a connecting flight through Atlanta simply disappeared at the world's busiest airport. Anna Giannini has been missing since Sunday May 31st when she flew into Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport but never reached her final destination, Atlanta police said.

Nigerian Woman falsely implicate two innocent men on rape charges


22 year old woman Comfort Yinusa (pictured above) is now facing jail time after falsely claiming two men raped her. Yinusa contacted emergency operators saying she'd been attacked outside a bar in London by two men and claimed they forced themselves on her. 

Fuel Station Explosion In Ghana Kills 70, Injures Many

Not less than 70 people have died in Accra, the Ghanaian capital following an explosion at a petrol station where many sought shelter, due to prevailing torrential rain. According to fire brigade spokesman, Prince Billy Anaglate, about a dozen people were taken to the hospital after the blast.

Mariah Carey's brother fears Mariah’s drinking will kill her and claims he has never seen her sober. Mariah’s sibling Morgan, who hasn't directly spoken to the singer in two years, fears the star is unable to care for her four-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe because he believes she is trying to numb her problems with wine and champagne. 

Alleging she has been a heavy drinker since suffering from mental health problems in 2001, Morgan told the National Enquirer magazine: 'Mariah was drinking through her pregnancy - even while she was nursing.

Workers Shut Down AIT, Radio Station Over 17 Months Unpaid Salaries

Workers of Daar Communications Plc, operators of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM Radio, yesterday shut down all broadcasting activities at the Benin studio in protest over unpaid  17 months salaries.
The scores of protesting workers were said to have blocked the main entrance to the station located along the Benin/Lagos bypass.

French Tourist Robbed, Killed In Ebonyi

A French couple, Mr. Nagnan Denis, 52, and his wife, Mrs. Nagnan Mee Lavaud Liana, 53, were on Monday night attacked by gunmen at Abomege axis of Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The attack led to the death of Denis, who was allegedly shot in the leg and given machete cuts in different parts of his body, until he lost consciousness and died.

There was confusion yesterday at Nadangoro area of Katsina metropolis as no fewer than 10 persons were feared dead and many others hospitalised after a wedding meal.

The incident, Vanguard learned, is already causing panic among residents of the area, as most of the guests, who ate or drank anything at the ceremony, are now scared with many of them undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the town.

A civil lawsuit was filed on Friday in a Seattle district court on behalf of Jane Doe who was almost thrown overboard by her rapist during the fight for her life on Valentine's Day last year on MS Nieuw Amsterdam.
Room service attendant Ketut Pujayasa used his company-issued, master key to enter the cabin of Jane Doe, then 31, where he was able to lurk on her balcony for several hours until she returned.
