Former Nigerian minister, Umaru Dikko, dies


Prominent Northern politician and one time Minister of Transport during the second republic, Umaru Dikko has died at the age of 78. His son, Bello Dikko confirmed his death.

Police nab Ernest Nwankwo, pastor accused of running a ritualists’ den


Ernest Nwankwo, the General Overseer of Holy Family Ministry, a.k.a House of Mercy, located in the Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, Lagos, who allegedly runs a ritualists' den, has finally been arrested by the Nigerian police almost a week after he escaped following the arrest of one of his church members who was caught trying to kidnap her neighbour's 7 year old son.
