Xenophobia: South Africa Shuts Down Lagos Embassy


Following anti-Xenophobia protests in Lagos and Abuja, the South African consulate in Lagos has shut down its embassy today.

Man Wants Court To Dissolve Their Marriage Over Wife's Battering

A 55- year-old retired civil servant, Mr Emmanuel Osuya, has asked an Igando Customary Court, Lagos, to dissolve his 32-year-old marriage over alleged battering by his wife. Osuya told the court on Wednesday that his wife, Abigeal Osuya, 50, had turned him into a punching bag.

He said she beat him on any slight provocation.

Ex Green Eagles star, Peter Anieke, passes on




Former Stationary stores and Green Eagles player, Peter Anieke has died. He died April 20th after a prolonged battle with acute rheumatism and arthritis. He was 68 years old.

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola was left with a hole in his trousers as he celebrated his team winning 6-1 against Porto at the Allianz Arena during the Champions League match in Germany yesterday night. His underwear was on display after the incident, and later he joked about it after the match.

NDLEA Arrests Two Nigerians Traveling To London & New York Carrying Cocaine

NDLEA has arrested two Nigerian men, age 59 and 47, travelling to New York and London respectively, before they were busted by the men of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. 59-year old Sunday Ojo says he is married to two wives and also in debt and needed the money they promised him to clear his debt.
