South Africa football captain Senzo Meyiwa has been shot dead in Johannesburg only hours after playing a match, police have said in a statement.
The 27-year-old was pictured looking happy with on-off girlfriend Kelly Khumalo, a South African pop star, earlier on Sunday.

Woman Held Hostage For 9 Years By Lover Regains Freedom


A woman from Delta State (names withheld by us) who was kid­napped nine years ago by her lov­er has miraculously regained her freedom.

The woman who lived in the Ikotun Egbe area of Lagos stepped out of her lover’s house with her four children for the first time in nine years. The woman said to be a grad­uate and speaks fluent English narrated her ordeal to the people in the area who gathered around to have a glim of her.

Sunday Sun was told by eye witnesses that the woman’s lover who hails from Ekiti State loved her so much and wanted to marry her but because her family was against the relationship, he decided to kidnap her for keeps, to keep her away from her parents. He later took her to a wooden house he built for her in Okerube area of Abaranje, Ikotun, Lagos.

Nigerian woman killed husband in Ebonyi state


25 year old Blessing Onyibe Nwogbagami, (pictured above) has been arrested by men of the Ebonyi state Police command for killing her husband, Mr Onwe Nwogbagami, near their home at Ojegbe Amike Ugbodo, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

A middle-aged man has been ordered to re-marry the wife he divorced after infecting her with HIV/AIDs virus.
This was the verdict of an upper Sharia court sitting at Sabon Gari, after the case was brought before it by the aggrieved wife.

Man Arrested For Digging Up Young Girls From Grave & Dressing Them Up For Parties To Fulfil His Fantasies


A sick historian dug up 150 graves so he could dress the corpses of dozens of young girls for birthday parties. Russian Anatoly Moskvin removed the bodies of girls aged between three and twelve to fulfill his twisted fantasies.

He then took them home and turned them into a grisly mummy collection, dressing the bodies and skeletons in stockings and dresses, and even making one look like a teddy bear.

Nigeria's Super Falcons win 2014 African Women Championship


The Super Falcons of Nigeria this evening October 25th beat Cameroon 2-0 to win the 9th African Women Championship 2014 which took place in Namibia. Football stars Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala gave Nigeria the victory after scoring the two goals in the match. This will be the 7th time Nigeria has clinched the title.
 
Super Falcons Asisat Oshoala was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
