Prophet dies after asking followers to bury him alive to strengthen his healing powers

A man died after he asked his followers to bury him alive so he can heal them. 

Self-proclaimed prophet Shamiso Kanyama of Muzarabani, Zimbabwe, accidentally died during a healing ceremony. 

Kanyama ordered his followers to dig a grave and bury him alive so that he can summon more healing powers.
However, when Kanyama did not come out of his grave, the soil was removed and he was found dead.

Police arrest child traffickers in Imo State Nigeria


The Imo state Police command have arrested a 2-man child trafficking syndicate in the state who specialize in stealing children and selling them to prospective buyers. The men identified as 22 year old Kelechi Nwogu and 22 year old Ebuka Ibe were paraded at the Imo state Police command by the state police Commissioner, Mr Austin Evbakhavbokum yesterday June 7th.

A parole board is set to recommend that Oscar Pistorius who was convicted in the killing of his girlfriend, be released from prison in August. Pistorius, 28, was sentenced in October to five years in prison for culpable homicide in the killing of Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day 2013.

Police Arrest Three Thais For Robbing A Nigerian Man In Bangkok


A Thai man and two Thai women have been arrested in Bangkok, Thailand for robbing a Nigerian national of his cash and valuables worth 130,000 bahts (about N760,000). 
The three suspects were arrested early Friday according to Pol Maj Gen Nipon Charoenphol, deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, while at a press conference at the Bang Na police station reports Thai Visa News.

The U.S. Marshals Service issued federal arrest warrants Sunday for two convicted killers who escaped from a maximum security prison in upstate New York over the weekend.
The warrants charge Richard Matt and David Sweat with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, according to William O'Toole, a U.S. Marshals Service spokesman. The warrants clear the way for the federal government to involve its considerable resources in the manhunt.

Manuel Alejandro Perez de Jesus, 26, has been sentenced to 27 years and 6 months in prison for the murder of Malcolm Latif Shabazz, grandson of Malcolm X, according to reports from the Amsterdam News and the Final Call.
According to the Final Call, Dr. Wilner Metelus, president of the Committee on Citizens of the Defense of the Naturalized and AfroMexicans (CCDNAM), posted the update on his page back on February 12. Political activist and former United States representative, Cynthia McKinney, confirmed the news on her page on February 13.
