Death Toll from Yola bomb blast now 31, blood donation needed
The death toll from the bomb blast that occurred at Jimeta main market in Yola Adamawa state yesterday night has risen to 31. Mohammed Dodo, the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Medical Center where most of the victims were taken to, said 22 persons are now in critical condition. The hospital management are calling for blood donations from members of the public.

Kanayo Awurum, 29, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly selling his son for N450,000 in the Egbe, Ikotun area of the state.
He allegedly sold the two-year-old boy, identified as Samuel, to a middle-aged women.
Kanayo, who worked as a painter, reportedly lied to his wife, Kelechi, that one of the women was his relative in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and the boy was going to live with her.
