Armless student take university entrance exams with HIS FEET... and passing with flying colours

Inspiration: Peng Chao, 20, got 80 percent in the notoriously difficult gaokao exams earlier this month

An inspirational student has passed his university entrance exams with flying colours by using his feet to write, after losing both of his arms aged six.
Peng Chao, 20, scored 603 out of 750, or 80 percent, in the notoriously difficult gaokao examinations in China, reported the People's Daily Online.
He now plans to apply to top universities in his home province of Sichuan after getting 13 points more than his predicted score.

Peng lost his arms in an electrical accident after he stood too close to an unfenced, high-voltage power transformer when he was just six years old.
But since then he has learnt to dress himself, write and use computers with his feet and toes.
He was one of the first students to get an extra 45 minutes in the language papers, under a new policy introduced this year to help those with special needs.

He was allowed to use a table that was set lower than normal and a special chair so that he could write using his feet.
Last year, he passed the gaokao examinations but decided to retake this year after he was left unsatisfied with his score of 538. He was not given any extra time then.
After re-taking his exams earlier this month, Peng said: 'The experience this year is better than last year.'
He said his dream is to go to Zhejiang University in eastern China to study civil engineering.
However, his parents are advising him to stay in Sichuan so that they can care for him.
Every year, more than nine million teenagers take the gaokao examinations across three days in China.
