Woman kills her brother during fight over a bucket

A man is dead after a fight broke out over a bucket, police in Nigeria said.

Kwara Region Police said that they arrested 21-year-old Elizabeth Eze after being accused of stabbing her brother, Francis Eze, to death during an argument.

Prosecutors told a magistrate’s court that the defendant stabbed her brother in the chest with a knife after a fight broke out over a bucket.

Eze was charged with one count of manslaughter, and prosecutors asked the court to deny bail for the defendant. The judge agreed and remanded Eze into custody.

In June, a man was arrested and charged with assault related charges for stabbing his brother in the stomach after he spilled his beer, according to police reports in Florida.

Authorities in Florida said they arrested the man accused of stabbing his brother during an argument about macaroni and cheese, and beer.

The Sheriff's Office of Volusia County, said a witness told deputies that Randy Zipperer, 49, became upset Tuesday in his Deltona home when he could not find his macaroni and cheese, so his 47-year-old brother helped him find the food.

Zipperer’s beer was accidentally spilled by his brother during the search, which led to the two men fighting, officers said.

Zipperer allegedly stabbed his brother in the stomach with a kitchen knife during the argument. His brother suffered a small puncture wound.

Zipperer was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and obstructing an officer without violence.
