Wang Qiang met his girlfriend Xiao Hong after she saw the reports of his search for love and decided to visit him at the park in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province, China, where he works. Mr Qiang said he received enquiries from two people after his story was publicised, and Miss Hong was the only person to come and see him in person.
