Armed with the latest remote control smartphone and tablet apps and gadgets, we challenged busy mother-of-three AMANDA CABLE (centre with her digital Aga) to carry out her household chores while out and about for the day — the results were astonishing.
Using her phone she was able to (clockwise from top left) feed the dog, chill her wine and boil the kettle. She could even dispense with the phone with a Big Brother TV which watches her hands move (bottom left).
