Colonel Gadhafi’s son is returned to Libya to face corruption charges after extradition from Niger

Colonel Gadhafi's third son al-Saadi has been extradited to Libya by Niger, to face corruption charges

Al-Saadi Gadhafi fled Libya when his father's regime crumbled in 2011, seeking refuge in Niger, where he lived under house arrest.
He has now been handed back to the Libyan government and was today transferred to a Tripoli prison. The authorities said al-Saadi - one of the deposed Libyan dictator's eight children - will be treated 'in accordance with international law'. Photographs released by the Libyan Prison Authority (above) show al-Saadi's head being shaved by guards.
