You may think the stresses of life as a prime minister are compensated for by first class travel and fine dining.
But the reality - for David Cameron at least - appears to be a little different after he was pictured squashed into an economy class flight stuffing his face with Paprika Pringles.
Sitting in the window seat on an Easyjet aircraft, a fellow passenger caught him on camera cramming crisps into his mouth.
The user, called Ashleigh, tweeted on Sunday: ‘THE PRIME MINISTER WAS 3 SEATS AWAY FROM ME EATING PAPRIKA PRINGLES HELP ME’.
One user replied: ‘Nice to the PM is an advocate of healthy eating!’
Another user expressed their shock at Mr Cameron flying on a budget airline, posting: ‘How is this even possible? It’s not even First Class! Times must be hard for the United Kingdom.’
Mr Cameron is believed to have flown back from a family holiday in Portugal to attend VJ day commemorations, before returning to his holiday.
Mr Cameron is a regular budget airline traveller, also taking his family on holiday to Faro in Portugal in 2013 and to Ibiza in 2011.
Ed Miliband was also recently spotted on an Easyjet flight with his wife Justine. The couple were flying back from Ibiza to return to the Commons to swear in as an MP.
It is not the first time a politican has been ridiculed online after eating in public.
In what became one of the defining images of the election, Ed Miliband was mocked online after he ate a bacon sandwich.
He leant awkwardly over a plate with his face screwed up as he took mouthfuls of the sandwich.
