Born at the roadside and learned his trade offering to Tarmac drives is now worth £200million

Alfie Best worth £200m learned his trade offering to Tarmac driveways

Entrepreneur Alfie Best (pictured left) 45, who was born into a gipsy family in Leicester, is now one of the most revered businessman in the UK - yet says he still does not feel 'successful'.
The father-of-two, who was born on the roadside in Leicester, left school at 12 and lived what he describes as an incredibly happy but poverty-stricken life (pictured inset as a child with his parents). Now, Mr Best owns more than 40 luxury trailer parks across England, Wales and Scotland as part of a business which is worth more than £200 million. As well as his sprawling £12m Herfordshire estate which boasts a helicopter pad, his property empire includes a flat in Mayfair, a house in upmarket Hampstead and a farm in Potters Bar. His numerous garages are home to seven cars, including a Rolls Royce convertible, two Porsches, a convertible Ferrari California T, a M4 BMW, a Mercedes CLS class and a Golf. He is due to appear on Britain's Spending Secrets with Anne Robinson tomorrow (pictured right during filming).
