Popular furniture maker and Ijebu business man, Otunba Tola Okuneye has been assassinated. He was shot dead yesterday at St.John Anglican Church, Oke-Sopen, Ijebu-Igbo when 10 fully armed men stormed the church around 11am while the pastor was preaching and shot him several times on the head.
He is not a politician, the men just went straight to where he was seated and shot him dead. We wonder why this happened, a church member said. Otunba Okuneye was 70 and he is survived by six wives and over 20 children.Culled
