The 47 year old jogger jumped into the Rhine river in Cologne when he saw two little girls fall in…his first instinct as a father was to save them but on Saturday of March 15,2014 late afternoon his good intentions turned against him…
He did fish the little girls out of the river but the strong current pulled him right back in just as he put one of the girl's on land and since then,sea divers and helicopters have been searching for at least his body but find nothing..he has been declared missing and the little girl he fished out of the water died in the hospital same day....one survived
The six year older girl and another ten year old girl were playing at a playground near the river and the older of the girls hurt her hand and both girls decided to cool their hands in the water and no one can explain how they fell into the river.
Emergency responded immediately and 40 men,two helicopters and five big boat set out to look for the man sucked away by the current but after two hours had to call off their search.
The husband and father is still missing and the ten year old girl survived.
The Rhine river is one of Germany's most dangerous ....culled
