Celebrities Successful And Unsuccessful Rehab Stories

Demi Lovato was a Disney child star! She was on Barney and then made her way to tons of Disney movies and TV shows. However, after her Disney career ended, she got into some awful things like cocaine, she became bulimic, and she also cut herself. She went to rehab though and had success there. She is doing just fine now!

Many may not remember this, but Ben Affleck actually went to rehab back in the day. It was back in 2001 and Charlie Sheen actually drove him to rehab where he had a full and successful recovery. He is back on track now and has had a very great and successful career.

Just a few months after he married Nicole Kidman, he checked into rehab for alcoholism. Keith was afraid his problem would ruin and eventually end his marriage because apparently Kidman was unaware of the problem until they were married.

Actor, Drew Barrymore, was checked into rehab when she was just 13 years old, which is insane! She was checked in for abusing cocaine and alcohol. However, luckily her results were successful and she is on a healthy track now.

It was just shortly after season one of The Simple Life ended that Richie checked into rehab. She was actually charged for possession of heroin. She was successful then but had to check into rehab in 2006 again for an eating disorder.

Jason Davis is a socialite that has had some serious problems and is still suffering with those problems. He was addicted to oxycontin, heroin, and who knows what else. He relapsed many times after rehab and is still having drug problems today. It’s a shame.

Kari Ann Peniche is known as Miss Teen USA from back in 2002. She went to rehab for an addiction to meth and got in trouble for smuggling drugs into rehab. It was said that she exposed her young baby to meth recently, so I think it is safe to say she is not doing okay.

Kelly Osbourne, known as Ozzie Osbourne’s wife, of course, was checked into rehab in 2004. She was addicted to painkillers. She had a lapse a few years later and after that lapse, finally got things in her life straight. She is now appearing on TV shows and seems to be doing well.

Glee star, Cory Monteith, was checked out of rehab just a few months before he actually died at the young age of 31 from a dangerous and toxic mixture of alcohol and heroin. It was a shocking event and very saddening as wel.
