Woman who forced girls into prostitution caught performing at school assembly

A female registered sex offender hid her identity from school administrators so that she can perform at the school assembly.

School officials in Washington, apologized to angry parents after Melissa Salsbury performed at their Kiona-Benton City High School, despite the fact that she was a convicted sex offender.

The event was organized by “Money Over Misery,” which is an entertainment company that has models and musicians who visit schools to promote self-esteem and awareness against peer pressure and bullying.

One of the speakers was Salsbury. She allegedly used her model name Mia Rose, when she went to the school.

Salsbury, 23, was ordered to register as a sex offender after she was convicted of running a prostitution ring.

With the help of her husband, Salsbury manipulated, coerced and extorted several underage girls into having sex with men while she kept the money.

Salsbury was ordered to stay away from school grounds, but she used her fake alias to get close to the girls.

Salsbury posed for photos with female students at the school before her true identity was uncovered.

She was arrested for violating her court order and is being held without bail.
