Romanian mother abandons her twin babies so she can get a job in Britain

Mihaela Boghian (left), 32, left sisters Antonia and Iasmina (top right) in the corridor of a council apartment block in the city of Piatra Neamt, a city in north-eastern Romania.
She then went to an employment agency and signed up to work as a fruit picker in the UK. The girls were only identified when their dad Marius Boghian, 35, spotted their faces on a television appeal and called police. He has since been reunited with them (bottom right).
