The Five Percent Nation is an offshoot of the Nation of Islam and followers believe that black men hold the power of God and that whites are 'wicked and weak'. The movement was started by Clarence Smith (right), a former student of Malcom X, in 1963. A representative for the group said Jay-Z is not an active member and shouldn't wear their regalia if he doesn't subscribe to their beliefs.
