Man found with serious injuries outside pub on Faussagh Avenue in Dublin

A 21-year-old man has died after he was found outside a pub on the north side of Dublin this morning.

The victim was discovered on Faussagh Avenue with serious injuries.
He was then taken to the Mater Hospital where he later died.
A Gardai spokesman said: "Gardai were alerted to the incident at approx 7.30am where a man in his 20s was removed to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.
"He died a short time later in hospital.
"The scene is currently scealed off and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.  The area of Fassaugh Avenue is closed from Killala Road to Dunmanus Road in both directions and local diversions are in place."
