Philip Barnwell plied the year 11 pupil at Woodside High School, Wood Green, London, with alcoholic drinks and let her share his bed, a professional conduct panel was told.
The relationship continued after the girl left the school and she fell pregnant with the teacher's baby at 17, the hearing heard. Mr Barnwell denies the facts in the case, and that he had an inappropriate relationship with the girl. He was banned from teaching for life by teaching regulation officials
