June Steenkamp (top) revealed that she does 'not want to live with bitterness' and so has chosen to forgive the Olympic athlete for shooting dead her daughter last year. The astonishing show of compassion comes after Mrs Steenkamp, 67, attended the first day of Pistorius' trial so that she could come face-to-face with her daughter's killer - but she said he walked straight past her without making eye contact.
