Emergency services in Australia were called to the aid of a man who got stuck in a washing machine after a game of naked hide-and-seek went wrong.
No, this is not a joke.
The incident occurred on Saturday in Mooroopna, a suburb of the Victorian city of Shepparton, north of Melbourne.
The man had climbed into the top-loading washing machine in the nip with the intent of surprising his partner, the Shepparton News reported.
Police, firefighters, paramedics, and Search & Rescue personnel took 20 minutes to free him - olive oil was involved - after he became firmly wedged in the household appliance.
‘‘He was very well wedged in there and we were concerned for his health and wellbeing,’’ Shepparton police Sergeant Michelle De Araugo told the News.
‘‘It was just a game gone wrong.
‘‘It would be fair to say the gentleman was very embarrassed.’’
