A man who tried to flee a Chinese restaurant without paying had to be helped down from a flat roof by emergency services after he got stuck trying to escape out of a balcony.
The drama unfolded in Worthing, West Sussex, last night after two men were asked to pay their bill and leave a Chinese restaurant after staff decided they were being rowdy and upsetting other customers.
Both fled, but one of them got stuck on a flat roof overlooking the street, where he remained for an hour and a half until he was persuaded to come down a fireman's ladder in exchange for a cigarette.

The unnamed man and his friend had enjoyed an evening at the China Palace restaurant in the town's South Street, but were asked to pay their bill and leave after they became noisy.
A source at the restaurant told MailOnline the two men had the £15.80 per head 'all you can eat' buffet menu, and ordered beers costing around £60.
He said: 'They were disturbing our customers so we gave them their bill, which was nearly £97, and asked them to pay and leave.
