A mum-of-three lured a man into a threesome with her boyfriend and then watched as he was tortured by him and another of her lovers.
Chantelle McCluney, 23, laid a honeytrap for the victim by inviting him to her Harpurhey flat for a kinky session with her and her boyfriend, Craig Hogan.
During the liaison, another of her lovers, Andrew Doyle, turned up – determined to exact revenge on the victim for an earlier slight, reports the Manchester Evening News.
The 37-year-old man was then tied to a chair, repeatedly kicked and punched, forced to drink bleach, seared with a flamethrower, dunked in a urine-filled mop bucket, struck with a chair, robbed, and forced to pose naked on the balcony for half-an-hour.
McCluney laughed as the two men tortured the victim in front of her. At one point she had sex with ringleader Andrew Doyle, with the humiliated man lying bloodied and helpless on the floor, and Doyle continuing to kick him throughout.
Asked why she had sex with Doyle at that point, McCluney told detectives: “I'll admit it – I felt horny”, Paul Hodgkinson, prosecuting, told Manchester Crown Court.
But McCluney, of Clevedon Street, Harpurhey, who has three children, was spared jail after admitting false imprisonment.
Judge Richard Mansell QC, gave her an 18-month sentence, suspended for two years, with supervision, after concluding she had been under the influence of Hogan, with whom she had been an 'abusive' relationship during her teens, and in fear of Doyle, but was now trying to overcome a deeply troubled past.
The court heard that the victim, now 42, was so traumatised he did not speak of his ordeal for four years. It was only when he went to counselling after a suicide attempt that he revealed all and the gang was arrested.
Weeks before the October 2008 attack, the man had been invited to have a threesome with McCluney and Hogan, who he had been pals with in jail.
During that encounter, Andrew Doyle turned up at McCluney's flat– and it emerged that McCluney and Hogan had been involved in a threesome earlier that day with him as well.
The victim thought that Doyle 'looked like a drug addict', and later told McCluney in a text that she should get tested for STDs if she had been sleeping with him.
McCluney told Doyle, who was enraged, and recruited her and Hogan to help him get revenge. The victim was then invited to McCluney's flat by her, for more sex, before being subjected to what the judge labelled 'inhuman torture'.
The man, who begged for mercy throughout, was pelted with eggs by the trio and ordered to look in the mirror before being released with a warning from Doyle that his family would be shot if he spoke of his ordeal.
Convicted robber Doyle, 24, of no fixed address, has now been jailed for five years for false imprisonment, and convicted arsonist Hogan, 28, of Brownedge Road, Oldham, has been jailed for four. Both pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
On the night of the attack the victim – who says he is plagued by flashbacks and 'can still taste bleach' - was found wandering around in the city centre in a 'stupor' with severe facial injuries. At the time, he told police he had been robbed by strangers.
