Now, I find what everyone is saying funny because I live in the same town where this took place and actually know both parties. I even went to the trail and heard everything. Now, for those of you who think this is sick, whats sick is the way you people talk down on this man. He is a black man and he went infront of an all white jury! and from living in fayette county, i know that racism here is extremely bad. So here's the story; it turned out that the girl was mad at her mother so she came up with this plan to put her mother and her "f*** friend" in jail but after a while she missed her mommy. So they came up with this plot to just get at him. [at this point the mother is mad at Calloway because he told her he didnt wanna be with her]. so she sat her dumb ass in jail for over a year and finally decided to plead guilty. (worst mistake evr) so the court date comes and the 13 year old changes her story over 3times and the mothers story doesnt even match up to any. The daughter and mother got caught up in their lies and the innocent man finally got set free. The jury seemed very confident and noone was shocked when the verdict was read because none of the girls stories matched up. Im not playing the race card (im mixxed) but it seems like all the stories in the paper and on the internet made it seem like something it wasnt just because hes a black male. If anyone really paid attention it sayed it was ATTEMPTED rape not actually rape, and he was found innocent for all 25 charges. And like i said i know both parties in the situation and the daughter and my sister are actually friends. And i know the man very well too. The daughters been having sex under her moms roof since she was 12 and her mother even let her 18 year old boyfriend live with her and sleep in the same bed, now thats sick. obviously the mother has some type of mental disorder which makes her not credible, and the daughter was a proven liar so that makes her not credible either. there was no eveidence not even a rape kit was performed, no fingure print or dna testing and the girls blood wasnt checked for any type of alcohol.
And im curious for those of you who still think he is guilty how do you think he wouldve got away with saying the baby was his wthout getting in trouble anyway? i know this man and he is very intelligent, just has a bad choice in women, and i'm sure he's not the only one.
The whole point is that he didnt do it and it was proven so why still be sickened by it, if anything you need to feel bad for him because he had his life taken away, his house car and job are no longer there because of this sick and twisted mother daughter plot.
Plus the mother still has to serve 2-4 years. (dumb b****)
