A mass grave has been unearthed in the Central African Republic's troubled capital, the spokesman for the African Union peacekeeping mission said.
Eloi Yao said that the area, containing around 20 bodies, was discovered yesterday.
He said the remains were found in a place called La Colline des Pantheres, or Panthers' Hill, on the outskirts of Bangui.
He said the 20 bodies were scattered in a number of different holes.
Mr Yao said that it was unclear which side in the conflict had carried out the killings. The Central African Republic is sliding perilously close to civil war, following a coup nine months ago.
