The US First Lady, who flew in to London Stansted Airport, is travelling to Britain with her mother and two daughters Sasha and Malia (pictured) to meet schoolchildren and take tea at Downing Street.
They will also spend time with Prince Harry, who they met for tea and cake in Washington in 2013, and are expected to spend the night in London before beginning a series of visits and meetings. The Obama family is on a week-long tour of Britain and Italy to promote Mrs Obama's Let Girls Learn initiative.
