30 year old Daniel Boone Morgan an officer at the Kiowa Police Department in Oklahoma was arrested in connection to the abduction of 15-year-old Alexis Odisho who was reported missing.
The teen was visiting relatives in Turlock California this week when she disappeared with officer Morgan in a 2013 Ford Mustang with Oklahoma license plates on Wednesday. They were believed to have been heading toward Southern California or Mexico.
Officer Morgan was apprehended on Thursday morning in Las Vegas and taken into the custody of the Las Vegas Police department for the kidnapping of Odisho. The police confirms that the teen is safe and will return to her family soon.
Officer Morgan was placed on administrative leave at the Kiowa Police Department at the time of the incident. He may face kidnapping charges pending the investigation.
