Judge slaps disabled black man while yelling n****r

A judge was arrested on charges of assault after allegedly slapping a black man while yelling racial epithets, police in Mississippi said.

The Madison County sheriff’s office said that Judge Bill Weisenberger, was accused of hitting a young disabled man and yelling a racial slur.
He was charged with simple assault on a vulnerable adult. Weisenberger was booked into jail and released after posting $10,000 bail.

According to the police investigation, Weisenberger slapped 20-year-old Eric Rivers, and shouted “run n****r run” in the Canton Flea Market.

If convicted, Weisenberger faces a fine of up to $1,000 and up to 5 years in prison. Weisenberger has denied any wrongdoing. This is not the first time that Weisenberger has been accused of racism.

Weisenberger was accused of imposing an illegal sentence on a black man who was convicted of driving under the influence, and he is accused of putting another black man in jail on a nonexistent charge of roaming livestock.
