Amanda Bynes has been hospitalized in LA after a very public breakdown. The 28-year-old actress, who was last year diagnosed with schizophrenia, took to Twitter on Friday to accuse her father of physically and mentally abusing her.
Minutes later, she tweeted that he had not assaulted her but blamed him for inserting a microchip into her brain that 'made me say those things'. Later that night, the former child star landed at LAX Airport (pictured top) and got in a cab which she thought was headed to her parents in a Beverly Hills hotel - but she was taken to Pasadena Hospital (bottom right) where she is now on psychiatric hold. Her parents Rick and Lynne Bynes (pictured bottom left with Amanda in 2004) have released a statement saying they are 'heartbroken'.
