Husband treated his wife like a slave, forcing her to work seven days a week

Jealous husband Robert Arundel (left) narrowly avoided jail after a court heard that he treated his wife like a slave.
He plotted a campaign of physical and psychological abuse against wife Michele at their remote Lake District bungalow (bottom right) which included installing CCTV at their home and making her work seven days a week without pay at their chip shop (top right). He was ordered to pay her £9,000 compensation and given a suspended jail sentence.
