Bernadette Smith (pictured with her estranged husband, Brian) kissed and cuddled Gary Ralston (top right) after the teenager's father invited her into their home in Cowie, Stirlingshire.
Now the mother of three has blamed her husband's affair which had resulted in a love child for triggering her own sordid behaviour with the teenager. The English and history teacher also claimed she started her affair after trying to be a 'positive influence' on Gary.
