Woman gives birth in the MIDDLE of a New York street

An unidentified woman gave birth to a baby girl on a New York City crosswalk yesterday afternoon in the midst of rush hour traffic. According to witnesses, the woman had already gone into labour by the time she left her apartment to hail a cab to the hospital. An ambulance arrived and took mum and daughter to Lenox Hill Hospital where both are doing well.
