Gunmen Abduct Nigerian President’s First Cousin


The president’s first cousin, Chief Inengite Nitabai has been abducted. He was abducted at his residence around 8pm last night in Otuoke, Bayelsa State. The gunmen numbering about 10, walked in quietly into his compound and abducted him without firing a single shot. According to his in-law who witnessed the scenario, the gunmen asked them to all lie down when five hefty men out of them walked into the living. They also asked his wife to give them money, and she gave them the N400,000 at home with her. They moved him into their vehicle and also took away his SUV, before driving off, she said.
Nothing has been heard from the men, but the commissioner of Police and Deputy Commander, JTF, have visitedthe crime scene. Chief Inengite is 70. culled
