Man Caught with Cocaine in His Mouth Says it’s Not His and He Doesn’t Know How it Got There

A Vero Beach, Florida man who was found sleeping in a stairwell had cocaine fall out of his mouth when cops woke him up.
45-year-old Eric Lamont Smith, who is homeless, was sleeping in a stairwell at an apartment complex at just before 1:00 a.m. back on February 15th when officers noticed a plastic bag with white powder in his mouth.
When asked about it, he told them it didn’t belong to him and that he wasn’t sure how it ended up in his mouth.
As you may have guessed, cops didn’t believe him. He was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine.
