After Shutting Down 40 Religious Houses, LASG Shuts Down 22 More, 3 Companies

Barely three weeks after the Lagos State Government through the State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA shut down 40 religious outfits across the state, the agency today shut down 22 more and three companies.  According to them, the religious houses have been causing noise pollution in their environment, while the said companies risk causing hazards to human health.

The General Manager of LASEPA, Adebola Shabi has however said the sanctioned churches would begin to pay fines ranging from N50,000 to N100,000 before they will be re-opened and enforced to operate under the law of the State.
