From Montego Bay to Centre Court... in a camper van
Dustin Brown burst onto the scene at Wimbledon yesterday (inset) by beating Rafael Nadal. But the win was a culmination of years spent driving around Europe in a camper van, scratching a living on slim prize money.
The 31-year-old (pictured right at a younger age), who was born in Germany but moved to Jamaica as a child, has learned tennis the hard way - living off pasta and stringing other players' rackets for extra money. Brown stands to more than double his yearly earnings with his win at Wimbledon yesterday. He is in a relationship with Las Vegas model Dione Gonzales (left), who gushed about him on Twitter following his win.
