BET 2015 Awards Highlights, Pictures And List Of Winners

The 2015 BET Awards held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night, June 28, 2015.

HIGHLIGHTS

Rapper Diddy fell into a hole during his performance. The fall happened as Lil’ Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, 112 and the Lox joined Diddy to perform a medley of past hits.

Rihanna duct-taped the hands of Floyd Mayweather while sitting in the audience. Not just that, she also wanted to go on stage with wads of cash but she was stopped by Stephen Hill (BET's President of Programming).

She got angry and threw the money at him. However on Twitter, some people are saying it was staged to help promote her video for "BBHMM".

Nicki Minaj brought her mom onstage with her to accept the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, which she has won six years in a row. Her boyfriend Meek Mill was caught on camera blushing and smiling as he watched his girl upstage.

During his acceptance speech Smokey Robinson, who won the BET Lifetime Achievement Award, dropped a powerful speech about today's artists. He said:  "You didn't start this. You were not the first in line. The line started way, way, way, way, way before your great, great, great grandparents were born. Also, you are not the end of the line. So don't be so full of yourselves."

For the Best International Act Africa category, Nigeria's Wizkid and Yemi Alade were part of the nominees but unfortunately, Ghanaian artiste Stonebwoy took home the much desired award.
