Vicki McBratney - who worked at Ludgrove School in Berkshire when the Prince attended - waited in the crowd in Christchurch to catch up with her former pupil.
The teacher, who has since moved to New Zealand, brought a smile to the Royal's lips when she popped up and showed him some old photos of them together during his schooldays (inset). Prince Harry attended the exclusive school in Wokingham from 1992 until 1998, the period in which his father Prince Charles and mother Princess Diana divorced and his mother tragically died in a Paris car crash.
