A young mother is traumatized after a stranger walked up to her boy and grabbed him by the throat, saying the child would rather want to be dead, police in the United Kingdom said.
The Metropolitan Police Service (MET) said that the young mother was shopping quietly in a pharmacy when the vicious woman approached her boy’s stroller and grabbed the one-year-old child by the throat
The shocked mother quickly pushed the stranger away before a security officer confronted the attacker and kicked her out of the store.
The bizarre incident occurred at a branch of Boots at The Strand, in London. Now, police have released a video of the attack in an attempt to locate the suspect.
The boy was unharmed, but her mother was left very shocked and traumatized by the incident.
The mother, who was not identified, told investigators that at first, she thought that the suspect wanted to look at her child before she realized that her boy was in serious danger.
The suspect is described as a white female, around 60 years old, overweight, light hair, a boil on her face and deformity of the eyes.
