Woman gives birth to twins two months apart

A mother who was pregnant with twins, gave birth to them two months apart. 

The woman of Romania, gave birth to twin girls almost two months apart, in what doctors described as a "miracle.”
The 41-year-old woman gave birth to her first child in November, but her second daughter was born in January.


This means that the twins were born in two different years.

While pregnant with the twins, the woman started having contractions prematurely at seven months. She gave birth to her first daughter, and doctors awaited the birth of the second twin shortly thereafter.

To their surprise, her contractions stopped. Previous scans had found that the twins were in different embryo sacs and had separate placentas, as is often the case for non-identical twins. 

Doctors advised the woman to allow the baby to continue to grow into her belly. The second twin was born by Caesarean section at the Cantacuzino hospital in Bucharest.
