Update: 2/11/15, 10:30 am: On the third anniversary of the death of pop icon Whitney Houston, mother to Bobbi Kristina Brown, the heavens have parted for a bit of good news coming from the Brown/Houston camp.
In an exclusive interview with Fox 5 Atlanta, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Leolah Brown, confirmed that doctors say that Bobbi Kris is “doing better,” a pointed rebuke to numerous reports that surfaced yesterday saying the family was going to remove her from life support today.
“We know that she’s opening her eyes,” Leolah Brown said on video. “That’s true. She’s opening her eyes, and there’s a few more things that she’s doing, but Krissi is doing well right now. She is.”
Leolah Brown, sister to Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby Brown, also confirmed that her 21-year-old niece is still on life support. Further, she said that she warned Bobbi Kristina some time ago “not to trust anybody,” and said “she saw this coming.”
In the over 16-minute interview, Leolah Brown also stated emphatically that she wants Bobbi Kristina’s partner Nick Gordon to be charged. “I believe that Nick Gordon will be charged with this,” said Leolah. Further, that she “hopes he will be charged soon.”
Later in the interview, she again places the blame square at the feet of Gordon and says Bobbi Kristina “would never do anything to hurt herself.”
“Nick Gordon is responsible. Trust and believe me, Nick is responsible,” says Leolah. “I am not afriad [to say this]. I am not ashamed. I am not scared.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub on Saturday, Jan. 31 and has been hospitalized and on life support since that time.

Following numerous reports that the family of Bobbi Kristina Brown would take her off life support on the third anniversary of her mother’s death, her father, Bobby Brown, has released a statement blasting the media for “egregious and false” stories.
Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC released this statement on behalf of the Brown family, as published by Billboard:
“We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended. However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention. The desire to be “first” has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence.” Brown added.“We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers.”
Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a bathtub of her Georgia home on Jan. 31. She was taken to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, where she remains. Tomorrow, Feb. 11, marks the third anniversary ofWhitney Houston’s death.
