Police officer turns up to work in £170,000 Ferrari, gets arrested

Ferrari

Police officers are not the highest paid people in the world, so you might imagine that if a Constable turned up for work in a £170,000 Ferrari, some of his colleagues might start asking questions.

Well the police officer in question, Osman Iqbal was the leader of an organised crime gang peddling drugs, helping to run a brothel and laundering money and for his part in the scam he was given a seven year jail sentence and is now facing three new charges of misconduct in a public office. Iqbal from Birmingham pleaded guilty to the charges and he also admitted that he made unauthorised attempts to access police intelligence systems, whilst serving on the West Midlands force.
In the court hearings they heard how Iqbal had access to a fleet of flashy vehicles, which were connected to two fake businesses City Chauffeurs Ltd and Capital Event Management. Iqbal together with his associates used strip clubs to target their potential clients and when they picked them up from these clubs they would be offered drugs and women and driven back to one of the brothels. The people were blatantly overcharged and because they felt embarrassed they failed to report the crimes.
It did not take the police long to figure out that driving around in their supercars, there was something highly suspicious!
